Manual pain therapy (MST)

Finally painless and mobile again?

manual pain therapyManual pain therapy is a form of treatment to treat both acute and chronic pain. The therapist works on energy and vital points that are located at the transition of the muscle to the bone and activate many receptors there. These receptors (Ruffini, Pacchini and interstitial nerve fibres) can be used to release tense and overstressed muscles. Thus the imbalance in the muscle-counter muscle system (agonist and antagonist) can be brought back into balance.

Such imbalances are usually caused by unevenly used or trained muscles at the workplace, during sports or hobbies. Small injuries or damages in the joint, muscle or connective tissue can develop, which our body indicates with pain.

Manual pain therapy can dissolve these acute imbalances in the muscle and connective tissue and help you to move without pain again. In order to achieve long-term freedom from pain, we give you simple exercises at home, because your own movement makes all the difference.

Manual pain therapy can help with the following pains:

A treatment usually lasts between 75 and 90 minutes.
Depending on how long the pain has persisted and how intense the pain is, the treatment can be successful after only one treatment or after several treatments.
Pain therapy is billed via massage techniques and is recognised by the health insurance companies.

Supplementary massages & therapies:
