Manual pain therap<\/strong>y is a form of treatment to treat both acute and chronic pain<\/strong>. The therapist works on energy and vital points that are located at the transition of the muscle to the bone and activate many receptors there. These receptors (Ruffini, Pacchini and interstitial nerve fibres) can be used to release tense and overstressed muscles.
